Counter-Strike Series
Counter-Strike (CS) is a series of multiplayer first-person shooter video games in which teams of terrorist battle to carry out an act of terror (bombing, hostage-taking, assassination) while counter-terrorists try to prevent it (bomb defuse, hostage rescue). At the end of each round, players are rewarded based on their individual performance with in-game currency to spend on more powerful weapons in subsequent rounds. Winning rounds results in more money than losing, and completing objectives such as killing enemy players gives cash bonuses. Uncooperative actions, such as killing teammates, results in a penalty.

Grand Theft Auto (GTA) is a series of action-adventure games created by David Jones and Mike Dailly. Gameplay focuses on an open world where the player can choose missions to progress an overall story, as well as engaging in side activities, all consisting of action-adventure, driving, third-person shooting, carjacking, occasional role-playing, stealth and racing elements. The series focuses on many different protagonists who attempt to rise through the ranks of the criminal underworld, although their motives for doing so vary in each game.

Devil May Cry Series
Devil May Cry is an action-adventure hack and slashes third-person shooter video game series developed and published by Capcom and created by Hideki Kamiya. The series centers on the monster hunter Dante and his efforts to take revenge for his mother's murder. Its gameplay consists of combat scenes in which the player must attempt to extend long chains of attacks, avoiding damage and exhibiting stylized combat; this combat, along with time and the number of items collected and used, are considered in grading the player's performance.

The Witcher Series
The Witcher is a 2007 action role-playing game developed by CD Projekt Red and published by Atari. The story takes place in a medieval fantasy world and follows Geralt of Rivia, one of a few traveling monster hunters who have supernatural powers, known as Witchers. The game tells the story of Geralt of Rivia, a witcher – a genetically enhanced human with special powers trained to slay monsters. There are three camera styles available in The Witcher: two isometric perspectives, where the mouse is used to control most functions, and an over-the-shoulder view, which brings the player closer to the in-game combat while limiting vision. In all three views, the controls can be changed to be primarily mouse focused or a combined keyboard and mouse approach.

Prototype Series
The prototype is an open world action-adventure video game developed by Radical Entertainment and published by Activision. Set in Manhattan, the game follows a powerful amnesiac shapeshifter named Alex Mercer who must stop an outbreak of Blacklight, a plague that mutates individuals into hideous violent monsters. During his quest, Alex tries to uncover his past while also coming into conflict with both the US military and a black operations force called Blackwatch. Parallel to the game's storyline is the ability to play the game as a sandbox-style video game giving the player freedom to roam Manhattan.

Just Cause is an action-adventure video game series created by Avalanche Studios. The series consists of Just Cause, Just Cause 2, Just Cause 3, and Just Cause 4. The games are open world and take place in islands and archipelagoes primarily. Each installment in the Just Cause series features a story of multiple factions fighting for control of an island nation. Although all four games take place in real-world locations (the Caribbean, Southeast Asia, the Mediterranean, and South America), the islands are fictional and the games only draw inspiration from those locations.
